The City of Allen is hosting it's annual Allen USA Celebration, Saturday June 26th at Celebration Park. This is their 4th of July celebration, but they always hold it on the last weekend in June so that plenty of people can come and it won't run into your plans for the 4th. The events will start at 4 pm (due to the heat) and include 2 stages for musical entertainment, plenty of food/craft vendors, a Kid's Kraft Tent, and The Kid's Zone that includes over 20 inflatable slides, rides and games for the kiddos.
Every year the event has a well-known band of some kind and this year The Commodores will be there! Oh, and the most awesome part of the event is the firework show at the end from 10 pm to 10:30 pm.
The Allen USA Celebration event is also dog-friendly. Feel free to bring your pup along for the fun too! In fact, there is a MeetUp group that will be getting together at the event for all the dogs to hang out together, The McKinney Dog Pack.
