I am currently taking care of two standard poodles in the Allen TX area, in which I come to their house around 7 in the evening and stay all night until 8 a.m. This works better for these dogs because staying in a doggy daycare really takes a toll on them. It didn't take long for them to figure out that I am staying the night for a few days and are eager to greet me when I walk in the door. Because I am the petsitter, I tend to spoil my clients a little. These two enjoy sleeping on the bed with me and take up a lot of room! But I don't mind. I am happy to help my client's pets feel safe and happy at home rather put them through the stress of relocating to a daycare for a few days. I also pay the dogs a visit in the middle of the day for a good long walk, which helps get rid of excess energy and stay in shape. They are enjoying the extra love and attention I am giving them during our sleepover.
